Give your destination wedding some local flavor! DJ Josh has lived locally for almost 30 years, so he can really give your event a very “Emerald Coast” feel. He’s no stranger to the stage as both a spoken word artist and a vocalist often on stage at his church, Crosspoint. He understands the importance of your big day not only because he works for B-Boy, but because B-Boy Productions provided the DJ/MC and Photo Booth for his wedding. He knows what level of expectations he needs to live up to and enjoys rising to them regularly. He’d be honored to be part of your big day!
Nickname? Weck. Due to having four vowels and only 2 syllables, my last name is consistently butchered.
Morning Person or Night Owl? Yes. lol. I DJ at a local night spot called Lucky’s Rotten Apple. But, I also works as a sales associate for B-Boy. That often requires me to do what one of my friends refer to as a clopen (close and open). It’s not uncommon for me to get to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning and have to be up by 8. If I could choose, I’d rather be a night owl than a morning person, though.
Typical Coffee Order? Cafe Liquid in Niceville has a GREAT coffee called the Highlander Grogg. It has whiskey tones in it. If I’m going for just coffee, that’s my drink of choice or Panera’s Hazelnut Blend. If we’re talking something that requires an espresso machine, I’ll go with a Vanilla Latte eight times out of ten.
Social Media Platform of Choice? Facebook, Instagram, and a little Twitter. Snapchat is just kind of weird to me; and it drains my phone’s battery :disappointed:.
Band or Artists Josh is Diggin’ Right Now? For a workout? Tiesto, Lil Jon, Martin Garrix. Enjoying a cup of coffee? Nora Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Michael Buble. Throughout my day? Anything from Modest Mouse to Kendrick Lamar to Earth, Wind, & Fire to Jack Johnson. I’m not super particular and different kinds of music are best suited for different types of days.

“Rhoda and Josh were so wonderful at our wedding at the Sandestin Hilton. The Sandestin Hilton packages include officiant, DJs , and musicians for your wedding, so you never know what your gonna get. If you can convince B-Boy Productions to let you pick a DJ go with Rhoda and Josh! We had so many compliments on the music; they played all my requests and picked the perfect songs to coordinate. Rhoda made sure to call prior and spent about an hour getting to know me and my groom which really made me happy, as not even our officiant did that. We planned our wedding in Florida from Texas so it really meant a lot to have a familiar voice on the team. I would have felt comfortable asking them for anything on our wedding day. They were truly a joy! They even took personal video of us on their phones enjoying our surprise Fireworks Display as we didn’t have a videographer; very thoughtful! “Rhoda and Josh Woeckener were the DJ/MC for our wedding and we could not be a happier! These two were AMAZING! Rhoda was very patient with us when it came down to picking the music, which made our lives so much easier. I (the bride) planned our wedding so it was difficult to balance all the last minute details while still trying to be a bride but Rhoda stepped right up and took a lot of responsibilities off our hands. During the ceremony Rhoda and Josh knew exactly where to set everything up and provided great suggestions for placement of the dance floor and tables.
