Sandestin Wedding Venues | Bayview Room and Terrace Venue Tour
We’ve been working at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort since we opened up our doors in the panhandle back in 2006. In fact, the very first Sandestin wedding venue we performed in on property was at the Bayview Room and Terrace. It has held a special space in our heart ever since. Over the last month few months, they did a major renovation to the space. We are giving you a little sneak peak venue tour with those updates. I think you’ll be excited to see this refresh.
Of all the Sandestin Wedding Venues, this a fantastic option if you want a non-beachy location. That view of the Choctawhatchee Bay is unlike any other. It makes a perfect ceremony backdrop or cocktail hour location.
The ceremony locations are really endless. They do have beach options, lawn options and many more on Sandestin’s property if the Bay view isn’t your ideal look. As for the room itself, you can comfortably fit about 75-85 people. Have a larger attendance count? No problem! The lobby area gives you the ability to put up a temporary draped wall to use as your dining location, thereby saving the main room for dancing, formalities and a photo booth. Another bonus of being indoors for the reception is that you can go beyond the 10PM noise ordinance that most outdoors properties have to abide by within the area. In the summer, when it takes longer for the sun to go down, this is a huge advantage.
We do recommend you and your guests stay on property at one of the condos or hotels. Getting in and out of Sandestin during season can take time with traffic (this goes for any venue on the Emerald Coast). By staying inside the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort, you can easily get around the resort or you can take the free tram to multiple drop-off points.
Another bonus of this property is the close proximity to Baytowne Wharf. This gives you many rehearsal dinner and after-party options.
Be sure to reach out to them today for more information as this venue books out quickly.
